The Veterinary Analytical Centre of Excellence (CAVE), established as part of the OSCAR Project to strengthen and coordinate the laboratory infrastructure of the Department of Veterinary Sciences, is divided into six laboratory units offering specialised services:

• LU1: Microscopy and Pathological Diagnostics Unit
• LU2: Microbiological, Biochemical, and Molecular Analysis Unit
• LU3: Physical-Chemical Analysis Unit
• LU4: Infectious and Parasitic Disease Diagnostics Unit
• LU5: Translational Medicine Unit
• LU6: Human-Animal-Environment Interaction Evaluation Unit
