LU6 – Human-Animal-Environment Interaction Evaluation Unit The Unit evaluates the potential impacts of the relationship between animals, humans, and the environment, considering all stakeholders and the implications for research, education, and the third mission. It deepens ethological knowledge and the potential impacts of relationships with people, also exploring innovative solutions (e.g., animals as nature-based solutions, animal-assisted interventions, and social farming). It also focuses on the conservation of Italian livestock biodiversity. The Unit contributes to the organisation of educational activities and theoretical-practical courses, as well as research and third mission activities, including expertise in participatory methods.
